Western Bahamas

When thinking about how we were going to ring in the new year, it was a no-brainer - we were going to go on the Sea Fever again!  With the conclusion of the trip we would have logged more than 100 dives in 2003 -- a milestone we were eager to achieve.

With 13 divers (and I think 8 of them named Bob) and 8 crew we boarded the boat in Miami on Saturday, December 27th.

Carol and Bob from California were by far the most experienced divers on the boat - they have logged more than 2200 dives on the last 6 years !  Scott and I were like sponges - soaking up stories, techniques, etc from them.  We really enjoyed hanging out with them.

Karin & Greg were fellow Virginians who had also lived in Colorado.  Patti & Richard from Alabama were there to celebrate their 10th anniversary.  Jersey Bob and Bob had driven down from, where else, New Jersey and Bob (not Jersey Bob) also logged his 100th dive on the trip.  Tampa Bob was getting back into the sport and wanted to dive in some clearer water (the more we talk to people from the west coast of Florida, the more we realize the diving in that area is not great).  And Carole and Tony had driven down from Buffalo.

A lot of the same crew was there - Dive Masters Ellie May and Rick, Engineer Ed, Captain Red were all still there.  There was a new chef - Rob - and Mike, Debbie and Deeana were down from the shop.

We had an awesome trip and can't wait to go back again.  Check out the pictures from each day by clicking on the links below.
