Sammy-Girl will be six months old on May 16th and it seems like time is just flying!  That might be because this sixth month of her little life has been incredibly busy! 

We started with an awesome visit from Uncle Jeff (from here on out known as Uncle EffJay - he was always a fan of Pig Latin).  We took Uncle EffJay to Smitty's Better Burger, the Virginia Air & Space Center (where we met Apollo 13 commander Fred Haise) and just hung out.  Shortly after Jeff headed west for Salt Lake, Grandma and Poppy stopped by for a quick visit.  

Then Sambo and Mom headed to the airport for her first plane ride and first trip to the west.  We spent a few fabulous days in LA with Granny, Auntie M and Auntie M's friends, Melissa, Daniel, Ori, John and others.  Then Mom, Granny and Sammy-Girl hopped in the car for a trip to Las Vegas where Mom worked and Granny and Sambo enjoyed the sites.  Sammy loved her time with both Auntie M and Granny and can't wait to see them both again.

Finally, just last week Mom, Sammy and Mom's cousin Margaret took a road trip to New York City where once again Mom worked and Sambo did a little site seeing; got to have lunch with her Grandma and Linda; met her friend Siena; and hung out in the Microsoft office a little.  There are more pictures of New York to come (Margaret treated her to the zoo in Central Park, the top of Rockefeller Center, the top of the Empire State Building and much more).

She wrapped up her sixth month with a visit to the doctor.  With a clean bill of health, there's no doubt Sambo is a happy, healthy little girl.  Enjoy the pictures below and come back soon to see what the seventh month has in store for the little one!
