It's hard to believe Sammy-Girl will be eight months old in July!  Next thing you know she is going to be driving, going to prom, heading off to college!  Sheesh! 

This month, so far, has been filled with many firsts (surprise, surprise ;-))!  Sadly, she had her first cold, but she soldiered through it like a champ!  She started propelling herself from one side of the pool to the other unassisted (check out the video)...and she started crawling!!!  She's getting pretty fast and she isn't afraid to pull herself up onto things.  We weren't quite prepared for this aspect of her life so we are quickly learning what it means to childproof a house!

Sambo also started school.  A mobile Sammy means a very unproductive mommy...So she headed off to daycare earlier this week. It is an adjustment for everyone (I think mom cried more than she did), but it will be so good for her. And she became fast friends with a little boy who is quick on his knees, has a full head of hair, a few teeth and can pull up on things like nobody's business.

We spent her first 4th of July in Savannah at the beach with our friends and had a great time.  Every day is a new adventure for Sammy-Doober.
