Day Five
December 31, 2003:
The last day of the year proved to be a great one!  We started with a beautiful sunrise and two drift dives.  Deb's Place (the first site) was nice - we saw a turtle and played with a perfectly shaped jellyfish during our safety stop.  Hammerhead Hill (the second wall drift of the day) was incredible.  We saw more turtle and shark and the coral formations were amazing.  Scott even spotted a moray skirting across the sandy bottom as we hung out for our safety stop.  This was one of those dives we just didn't want to end (but then again, I guess we kinda feel that way about all of them :-).)

The last two dives of the day were at Tuna Alley (not far from White Marlin).  There were a lot of neat little swim-throughs and an awesome turtle.  It was a great way to end the year.

We then took the boat into Bimini where about half the folks went into town.  We opted for a mellow night of dinner and a movie and an early bedtime.  It was a perfect way to end the year!
