What a treat! Today we saw
three Longsnout Seahorses at the end of our first dive. We have never
seen them while diving and were thrilled to have the opportunity. The
current was moving along a quite a clip so it was hard to get a good picture
of them.
Today we ended up doing five
dives. After the first two boat dives, we went back to the hotel for a
quick lunch. Before the night boat dive we thought we'd do a quick
shore dive to check out the airplane wreck. Quick was the operative
word...the current was so strong we were at the wreck in no time.
After playing on the wreck for a little while (and being attacked by a
bicolor damselfish) we had to swim to shore and walk with all of our gear on
back to the pier. Once we got there, we figured we'd do another shore
dive. As luck would have it, the current had changed and we were
swimming against it again! By the time the boat arrived for the night
dive, we were tired. But, night dives are always Sara's favorite so we
joined the rest of the group.
