Diving - Galapagos

After almost two years of waiting, we finally made it to Galapagos!  Our expectations were extremely high and we were not disappointed.  Our goal was a simple one - to see some hammerheads and a whale shark.  We left with 7 whale shark sightings, more hammerheads than we could count, Galapagos sea lions, dolphin, silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, black tip sharks, turtles, octopus, manta rays, red-lipped batfish and more sea stars than we could ever have imagined.  We were also treated to sea life in numbers we had only ever seen in an aquarium.

The crew of the Galapagos Aggressor I (Patricio, Alejandro, Rubin, Eduardo, Ruffino, Boris and others) were amazing. They worked so hard and made sure the trip was nothing short of spectacular.  What's more, the other passengers were great!  We enjoyed sharing the trip with each one of them and hope to dive with them again in the future.

Instead of organizing our pictures by day, we decided this time to instead present them to you by location.  While the trip was a liveaboard dive trip, we did have an opportunity to go to shore in North Seymour, Santiago and Santa Cruz so you will find both land-based and underwater photos.

Another alternative for viewing is to watch a slide show with all of the pictures by clicking on the image below.  However you view them, we hope you enjoy!
